September in pictures (with a few august stragglers)...

We finally bought a minivan. We love it and are excited for enough room for another car seat when the time comes.

The first part of our trip to us to Manti, Utah where we were able to attend the funeral of Bryce's Mission Mom (His Mission Pres's Wife). It was a beautiful funeral. We also made sure we stopped by the Temple, which we had never been to before. The kids were not impressed as we were in the car for 17 hours the day before, woke up early to drive 2 hours to Manti and then sat through a 2 hour funeral. And it was really hot outside and they had not napped yet.

After visiting the Temple we met up with my brother who was at his cabin in the mountains near Manti.
We had a blast!

My brother took both of my kids on a quad ride!

They had a zip line which I we went down several times. So fun!

My brother's cabin which he built himself. He is very talented!

Oaklee pretty much thought she was the proud owner of my brother's dog Rufus while we were there. She was obsessed!

In between Utah and Montana, we stopped at my cousins house for a night and our kids had fun playing together. Totally forgot to take pictures, bummer!

On our way to C's (McCoy's birth mother) house we stopped by a little town to eat lunch and to go to the car museum there that we had gone to all the way back when we had moved to Montana more than six years ago. We knew McCoy would love it since he is a lover of classic cars.

We have a picture of Bryce and I with this six years ago, so I was so excited to get one with the kids.

I also have a picture of Bryce sitting right here six years ago. So cute!

We finally got to C's house and we had so much fun with C and her family.
They fed us some yummy food and took us to some really cool places.

A fun bench at a park near their house. This bench swing sits right on the water of a huge lake.

McCoy had fun chasing the birds from the dock.

They also had a blast playing in the lake and getting soaked. The water was actually really warm and they loved it.

McCoy started his first day of Preschool. He was so excited! And he is loving it.

We were sending McCoy off to Preschool and this is how Oaklee came to the door.

McCoy fell asleep in his door way when he should have been doing quiet time in his room.

McCoy is quite the drawer for just being four. He drew these two pictures for his Grandpa's birthday.
This one is an alien ship.

And I was amazed at how great he drew this train. Grandpa framed it and hung it on his wall at home.

Another time he was supposed to be taking a nap and he ended up playing and finally giving in to sleeping in his sleeping bag on the floor in front of the door.

A new year and a growth spurt brought out the next size up for McCoy. Thankfully we have been stocking up and we haven't had to go buy anything. He is growing too quickly.

One night all the dishes were dirty, I needed to grocery shopping and daddy was going to be home late, so we headed to the local DQ.

We had so much fun.

McCoy has Taekwondo Monday through Thursday. And we have made some cute and fun friends while watching him. These are Oaklee's friends she plays with there. Oaklee, T and J sitting still for a few minutes. One of the coolest things about these girls is that T was also adopted and J's older sister (who does Taekwondo with McCoy) was adopted too. How cool is that?!

Park playing on Friday Fun Day!

Oaklee just being cute!

Oaklee has figured out how to draw circles and our driveway, chalkboards and all paper are covered in them. It is so adorable!

And although I think she is a bit young, and I have not wanted to even try yet. Oaklee has shown that SHE is ready and we bit the bullet and we are in the midst of potty training. She is doing great so far, phew!

PB&J in a card board tent.
