Pumpkin Patch

It was a cold and rainy day the day we were finally able to go to the pumpkin patch. And although Oaklee was sick we had a good time. I love this tradition, but it is alot more fun when it is nicer weather :)

As we were driving to the patch, Bryce asked McCoy to say a prayer that it wouldn't rain while we were there, so that Oaklee wouldn't get wet and cold and make her sicker. He wanted to but only if he could say it in his head instead of out loud. He did and when we got out of the car, it was just sprinkling and by the time we got on the wagon it wasn't raining at all. It didn't start raining again until on our way home. So we were able to talk to McCoy about how Heavenly Father can answer our prayers even if they are simple.

Waiting in line for our tractor pulled wagon to get back.

Mac showing our tickets.

Cute and excited boys!

Oak was pretty grumpy for obvious reasons. The only time she was happy when the wagon ride would get bumpy and make us bounce up and down.

The pumpkin selection was very hard. Our rule is that you have to be able to carry your own pumpkin out and the patch that they took us to was all huge pumpkins. Mac and Oak's pumpkins were the smallest we could find and it was just barely light enough for him to carry on his own, but he struggled with it. On top of that they only gave us about ten minutes before we had to head back. But some great pumpkins were found!!

Oak didn't like the mud and tripping into the mud and just wanted to be held and then would get mad when her boots would slip off while we were holding her.

In all we were glad we went, and now McCoy and Oaklee can hardly stand to wait to carve his pumpkin.
