I let McCoy flip the pancakes for the first time. He loved it!
One day McCoy said he wasn't hungry at lunch time. I warned him that I wasn't going to make him lunch later and he said he was fine with that. A little while after I lunch cleaned up and put away he came out wanting something to eat. So I told him to grab all the stuff for a sandwich, since he could reach it all and make himself one. He did, and he loved the independence and made himself two sandwiches.
Oak is such a little mommy and loves on her baby dolls all day long.
We have played alot of play-doh lately. And grandma gifted us all new play-doh recently so it has been extra fun.
Daddy turned 34 and we had a small birthday party with his parents and sister.
We had a baby shower for Bryce's little sister who will be having her baby boy next month. We are excited for a new cousin.
Oak got to go to her first all girl party. It was a princess tea party, so she got all dressed up for it. It was so fun and so adorable.
Oaklee insisted on wearing her tutu to bed one night.
To waste a little time before bed we will occasionally have nerf gun wars.
McCoy had his first Taekwondo tournament. He did great and it was so fun to watch all the kids. He loved his medal but refused to wear. He however never put it down the rest of the day.
We made home made Pizookies one night. They were a hit with the kids.
The weather is slowly getting nice enough to go on walks occasionally. This day it was warm and beautiful and we went on a LONG walk because we didn't want to waste the nice weather.
Oaklee asked to paint and she spent a good hour on her very precise painting that she worked very hard on.
My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and I was able to take some photos of them to commemorate it. They have been the best example of love in marriage!
We got a year pass as a gift to the Science Factory. The kids loved it, and it is nice to know we have someplace to go when we are bored and can't be outdoors.
My little superheroes eating breakfast.
There has been alot of dressing up going on, and I think it is my favorite thing ever.
We do a date/babysitting swap with our neighbors. This was our night to babysit and the kids had so much fun and they get along so great. We can't wait to do it again.
It was a great month. And we hope to find some fun things to do in the next couple of months while daddy is super busy at work during tax season.
