APPROVED!

We are officially approved and our profile is up on our agency's website.

Check out our PROFILE

I am so happy that today was the day we were approved. This date every year we are reminded of a great tragedy in our lives, but now we can remember something happy about it too.

When I got the email saying we were approved and live on the website I was much more excited and giddy than I had anticipated. So anxious to see how our story unfolds this time...

Starting again...

I just talked to our Caseworker for the first time today about starting our paperwork again. He emailed me the initial application  and info and we set up an orientation meeting for next week. We will also be knocking out our 10 hours of adoption education next week. So excited for that, especially since last time we took the foster/state adoption classes that were 3 hours each week and lasted for 8 weeks. They were miserable! So we are excited to be able to do them through our agency and through an FSA Conference and do it all in one weekend. Way more fun and way quicker!! I am excited to get the ball rolling, although we don't feel the need yet to hurry through the process.

Approved!

On Monday April 26th we were finally approved to adopt again.
To say that we are excited would be an understatement!
We can hardly believe that we are at this point again.
We pray everyday for the birthmother of the baby that will be a part of our family. Our prayers are for her, the birthfather and their families to feel the comfort and guidance of our Heavenly Father. We pray that we may be sensitive to the spirit to know how to find each other. And that all may be blessed through the love, sacrifice and miracle that is adoption.
