August in photos...

Goofy girl on Grandma's tramp.

We find these frogs all the time in our yard.

Oaklee has been obsessed with taking pictures lately.
This is me at McCoy's swim lessons.

Oaklee on her first day of lessons.

A selfie by McCoy! Love his freckles!

Playing with our neighbor friend. They were just wearing the life jackets for fun.

Beautiful sunset one night.

He just looks so big. Love him!

Trying to distract Oaklee at her well child check up.

Playdate with our neighbor friend.

Me and my cuties!

Love her in sunglasses.

Slides are pretty fun!

Grandpa G tickling McCoy.

This girl knows how to be a goof ball.

Looking at the mind jars they made at our friend's kids yoga class.

She woke up so happy and giggly one morning. She kept on coming up to me and hugging and kissing me. It was so cute!

A painting of flowers by Oaklee. It WILL be framed and hung on the wall.

Yes, we let our kids play in the street. We live on a dead end and the street that leads to ours is at angle that we can see cars way before they get to our house.

Playing with more neighbor friends.

Found this pic of me as a little girl holding my red headed cabbage patch doll. I guess I was always meant to be a mama of redheads.

We had a little birthday play date at the park with some of our Taekwondo friends because one of the little girls has the exact same birthday as oaklee and they both turned 3.

Our ward had a pool party. It was alot of fun, but the water was COLD!

Just looking cute reading a book.

A little nature walk at a pond preserve by daddy's work. We didn't stay very long because it was way too hot.

Playing in the cars at Toys R Us.

Loved the clouds this day.

A Saturday morning breakfast day with my hot hubby while the kids were at their grandparents house.

Right before brother came in Oaklee comes in dressed like this and says, "I'm here to rescue you...from the dinosaur!" So cute!

Daddy came home one night with ice cream in hand declaring we would go pick blackberried and come home and eat ice cream. It was the best!

While we were getting a recall repair done on our van I was able to walk the kids over to a park I used to go to as a kid. The kids loved the ducks!

Our little goldilocks!

Eating ice cream at the annual family dentist carnival.

Oaklee's kangaroo balloon animal from the carnival.

McCoy wanted to do a lemonade stand  during out garage sale. He did with his best friend/neigbor and they made $8 and split it then went and bought some toys at a neighboring garage sale.

Oaklee got a new big girl bike for her birthday.

McCoy earned his camouflage belt at taekwondo. It is the third belt he has earned.

Oaklee really wanted a minnion cake and daddy is always the birthday cake maker and he did a great job this year.

We met a friend from out of town at the Zoo. It was a blast!

On the way home from the Zoo we stopped by the Temple.

Just a little morning meltdown. This girl doesn't do waking up very well.

Memorial Day Weekend

I just have to say that we live for summer holidays at the lake house. It is pretty much the highlight of our summer. It has the making of awesome and fun memories for our family and especially for our kids. Swimming, boating, fishing, paddle boating, playing, getting dirty, walks, playing with cousins, s'mores, watching movies, playing games, staying up late...pretty much pure awesomeness. We can't wait to go back for the 4th of July.

Heading to the Lake House this weekend we were pretty sure it was going to be cold and wet, but to our surprise we woke up Saturday morning with sun shining through the fog on the lake. We just knew it was going to be a beautiful day, and sure enough it was amazing. Beautiful blue skies, not windy and warm...not what we were expecting and such a nice surprise.

We started out with some fishing...

This was the cutest moment...walking up from the dock T was chatting away to Oaklee and Oaklee kept responding with "yeah", "yes", "i know".

Oaklee with the younger cousins.

Cuteness!

The girls' "mud shop" has officially turned into a "gun shop". The older kids are officially too old for that stuff and the younger kids have taken it over.

Grandpa was having fun blowing bubbles with Oak.

A visit to the "secret island". A little spot that is hard to get to that the older kids have enjoyed for years. All the younger ones wanted to go see it.

And of course this is how my kids would end up getting anywhere near water. They just can't help themselves but get soaked.

Then Uncle J took them on a paddle boat ride. That thing rocks!

Oaklee LOVES worms! She had fun playing with them while the boys were fishing.

More fishing!

Then Uncle J made all the little kids bows and arrows.

Lunch after a boat/tube ride.

A walk back from fishing at the other dock.

Oh this girl! Love her!

Then on to s'mores...two nights in a row.

I am so in love with this boy. That red hair gets me every time!

Oaklee even got her toenails and fingernails painted.

Just missing baby C our newest cousin! I love the photo bomb from Benji (the dog).

THe older kids are way too cool for silly faces.

More s'mores!

With eyelashes that long he better watch out or they might get stuck in his s'more.

And my first time playing Settlers of Catan.

Mac loved helping his cousin.

We can't wait for more fun in just a couple of weeks for 4th of July.
